Adapted Cycles

Thanks to generous donations and funding from the Scottish Government Free Bike Scheme and the Healthy Island Fund, Ability Shetland have a fleet of adapted cycles.

Throughout the year we have multiple Try A Cycle Events where you can try a number of our adapted cycles.

You can also hire our cycles out for a period of time to support anyone to cycle in their community. This service is based on a first come basis. There is no cost to hire out our adapted cycles, but donations are always welcome to help with maintenance.

To hire out an adapted cycle please contact 01595 743 922 or email
