Adult Sports Club

Clickimin Leisure Centre

The club provides a range of dry side sports activities including ball sports, racquet sports, boccia and bowls as well as a selection of table-top games. We also provide a block of ten swimming sessions each summer when we have the use of all pool-side areas including the hydrotherapy pool. Activities can be competitive or just relaxing. The club is suitable for all individuals.

Transport is provided for the Lerwick area. Passengers are asked to pay £2 each per week to cover this cost.

Yoga Club for the less able

Market House, Lerwick and Cunningsburgh Hall

Relaxing and therapeutic yoga sessions and stretch and breathe exercises with a qualified and experienced yoga instructor.

The Yoga Club will run for 2 x 10 week blocks during the winter months in Lerwick and the South Mainland.

Arts & Crafts Club

Staney Hill Hall, Lerwick

Open to all adults who have an interest in Arts & Crafts.

The Arts and Crafts Club takes place on the last Wednesday of each month from 19:00 to 21:00


Wednesday Club

Islesburgh Community Centre

This small group meets every week for a social get together and lunch.  Book club days, film days, table top games and visiting speakers add a theme to sessions which are all accompanied by lively chat and as much coffee as you can drink. 

Transport provided from Lerwick. -  First pick-up at 1030.

Forward Directions Drop in Group

Islesburgh Community Centre

Social Club for young adults based at Islesburgh Community Centre on Thursday evenings from 7 to 9pm.

Brae Adult Club

Brae Youth Centre

This club meets fortnightly on Wednesdays predominantly in the Brae Youth Centre from 11am to 2pm..  The group is aimed at adults who may experience barriers to accessing social opportunities in their area.  There will be various activities on offer including arts and crafts, games and quizzes, creative writing, baking and cooking – or just to drop in for a catch up.
