Throughout the year, in partnership with other organisations and clubs, we deliver a range of events across Shetland for both children and adults.
These events range from competitions, family days, arts and crafts and much more! Many of these events provide opportunities for participants to try new activities, show case their talents and compete against other athletes.
Various
In partnership with Shetland Islands Council Outdoor Access Team, we are delighted to announce the launch of the All Terrain Wheelchair Routes guide. The routes in this guide have been graded following the Path's For All route grading guidance. The aim of the guide is to encourage individuals with mobility difficulties to get outdoors and enjoy some of Shetland's more remote locations. This guide will be updated when more routes have been graded. You can access the guide by following the link below.
All Terrain Wheelchair Routes
If you would like to explore these routes in the guide then there is opportunities in May to join Ability Shetland as they walk these routes. An All Terrain Wheelchair can be transported to the walk location upon request. Please book a space through emailing megan.keppie2@shetland.org
