A variety of activities including swimming, soft play and crafts are planned for children and young people during school holiday periods with the exception of Christmas.
Activities are tailored to meet the needs of individual club members and are suitable for all ages from primary to secondary school.
Morning sessions normally run from 1000 to 1230 and afternoon sessions run from 1230 to 1500. Fees are £5 for a half day or £10 for a full day. Bus trips last a full day so there are no half day option on those days.

Unst Youth Centre and Unst Leisure Centre
This club has a relaxed atmosphere and activities ranging from arts and crafts to fun and games are tailored to suit attendees.
Saturdays 1100 to 1300 fortnightly throughout the year.
Unst Leisure Centre
A range of dry side sports activities including ball sports, racquet sports and boccia suitable for all children.
Wednesdays 1630 to 1730 during school term.
Supported ASN swimming arranged on a bespoke basis in conjunction with the Baltasound Junior High School that take place during school term time.
Every 2nd Sunday 14.00 - 16.00
Yell Leisure Centre
Supported ASN swimming arranged on a bespoke basis in conjunction with the Mid Yell Junior High School which take place during school term time.
North Roe & Lochend Public Hall
This club is run by Ability Shetland for all children of primary school age. Club members can supported by Ability Shetland staff.
Friday 18:30 to 20:00 every second week during school term.
Urafirth Primary School
This club is run jointly by Ability Shetland and Urafirth Primary School for all children of primary school age. Club members can supported by Ability Shetland staff.
Thursdays 15.15 to 17.00 fortnightly during school term.
Sandveien Neighbourhood Centre
This club has a relaxed atmosphere and provides a social meeting point for school aged children and young people aged 4 -18. Activities ranging from arts and crafts to fun and games are chosen to suit individuals. This club has an entry fee of £2 per session. It’s possible that we can negotiate this charge in circumstances where payment may be difficult.
Saturdays 1100 to 1300 throughout the year
Islesburgh Community Centre
This club provides a social meeting point for secondary aged children and young people and has a relaxed but lively atmosphere.
Thursdays – 1830 to 2000 during school term.
This group aim to develop and encourage social interaction among primary aged children. The club runs on a Tuesday evening from 6.30 – 8pm during school term time.
Bruce Family Centtre
Parent and child group to develop social skills in pre-school children while encouraging social interaction and peer support for parents and carers.
